A leading northeast gas contractor working primarily in the 5 boroughs of New York City is searching for a full-time Office Administrator in our Maspeth office. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong communication and customer service skills. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow with the largest union affiliated gas contractor in the New York City area.
As an Office Administrator, you will be responsible for ordering equipment and supplies for Office and Field personnel, tracking paperwork, entering data into Excel and various databases, and regular communication with the purchasing department.
Additional responsibilities and skills:
- Answering phones
- Routing of complaints and damages to correct department
- Submitting timesheets to Payroll Department
- Issuing Purchase Orders and tracking associated paperwork
- Process vendor deliveries
- Must have Organizational skills and be detail oriented
