Lighting the Way Forward
Hallen has installed many electrical transmission and distribution lines for entities such as PSEG, Con Edison, and several independent investors. As with natural gas, we excavate, place concrete vaults and conduits, and perform final roadway restoration. We also support client-lead wire pulls/splices and have an electrical subcontractor that can manage that work if needed. We’ve worked on isolated islands, the congested streets of NYC, and everywhere in between. Whatever comes our way, we get it done.
Transmission
Connecting the Dots
As our nation works to improve its infrastructure, we must look well beyond the present. Buried transmission cables offer many advantages, including protection from the elements, reduced outages, and an aesthetically pleasing environment for future generations to enjoy. Hallen plays key and supporting roles in all facets of this infrastructure construction, from excavation and conduit installation, to cable support and commissioning efforts. Whether we self-perform or manage our valued pool of proven subcontractors, we are committed to ensuring the work is performed to the highest standards.

Distribution
Threading the Needle
In addition to electrical transmission work, Hallen provides turnkey conduit installation and cable support services for distribution systems. This work can be challenging as it is often performed in urban areas with a higher concentration of buried utilities. Nevertheless, we pride ourselves as being the one contractor that always employs the right means and methods needed to complete the work.
