Position Overview:
The Paving Clerk is responsible for performing data entry and administrative tasks to support the paving department. This role ensures accurate input of job-related information into internal systems and assists with maintaining organized records for paving operations.
Essential Job Functions:
• Enter job details, permits, and inspection data into company systems accurately and promptly.
• Maintain spreadsheets and databases for paving schedules and job tracking.
• Organize and file documents related to paving projects (digital and paper).
• Assist with preparing daily reports and coversheets for paving operations.
• Communicate with team members to confirm data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform general clerical duties such as answering phones, responding to emails, and photocopying documents.
• Other activities may be assigned by your manager
Qualifications/ Requirements:
• Must be highly accurate, have strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and have strong attention to detail.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively, tactfully and empathetically with all levels of stakeholders.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions:
• Office environment with frequent computer, mouse, and keyboard use
• Alternating between sitting or standing as needed, walking
• Hearing, talking, reaching, grasping
Salary Range: $50,000 – $55,000
