Congratulations are in order for Hallen family members Sierramarie Fossati and Michael Ortega. It was recently announced that both have been awarded academic scholarships by the Distribution Contractors Association.
Sierra is the daughter of Ed Fitzgerald and multiple other family members work at Hallen. She is also a valued member of our EHS Team. Sierra was awarded the DCA – Dale R. Michels Scholarship. She is pursuing her master’s degree in occupational health and safety.
Michael is the son of long time Hallen employee Mike Ortega. Like Sierra, several of his family work for Hallen. Michael was awarded the DCA – Curtis Allen Scholarship. Michael will begin his education at SUNY Delhi. He will gain a technical degree in plumbing with the ultimate goal of earnings his bachelor’s degree in construction management.
We are extremely proud of Sierra and Michael. They are wonderful representatives of the Hallen Family. We wish them the best of luck in their studies.
